Hell’s Best Kept Secret by Ray Comfort

I would not ordinarily choose a book with the word hell in the title, because I don’t like to think too much about hell.  But a friend recommended the writer for his thoughts on sharing the gospel, which is something I feel compelled to do, so I decided to try it.

What I learned from Ray is that there are many of us who prefer not to think about hell. So we don’t faithfully explain to people that hell is the consequence of a person’s sin against God. Without a conviction of sin, people do not have an urgency to repent of it and trust in the blood of Jesus who died in our place so that our sin can be forgiven.

This is a helpful book to anyone who desires to be more comprehensive in discipleship. Ray implores us to provide the basis for our need of a Savior.
